Videoplaza was established in late 2007 by Alfred, Dante and myself, with the aim of helping broadcasters and publishers build profitable and a sustainable business in the internet-delivered TV world. We felt there was a huge gap between how consumers (including ourselves) wanted to consume TV and what was available online in a straightforward, legal way.

We started building out our video ad serving platform in 2008 on the back of signing our first client Kanal5 (now part of Discovery Networks) in Sweden. And looking back at this time, Videoplaza was founded at the same time as the birth of the internet-delivered TV industry.
Now, seven years on, we have come a long way in achieving our mission. More than 100+ customers across 30+ markets run their video advertising businesses on our platforms. And today we have local teams across 7 locations supporting these partnerships.
Today, increasingly consumers can access their favourite content on the device or screen of preference as broadcasters and publishers are evolving their business models. Videoplaza remains committed to this mission as the market continues to evolve and grow. Given all this progress in our industry since we founded the business, we still believe this market is very much in it’s infancy. Most of our work is still to be done and many exciting challenges remain to be solved!
